I’ve blogged a little bit about one of my previous visits to Rome, but I’ve been lucky enough to spend a week there earlier this month. Filling a week in Rome isn’t difficult, and there are still a million and one things I’d like to be able to pack in. But, as I was inspired by bloggers in Rome, and those who have blogged their visits – I’ve decided to take a bit of a different approach this time. So, an advance warning that this blog will have an Italian flavour for the next few posts! Here’s a few quickly uploaded images to give a little taste of what’s to follow!
As this was my fourth visit, we didn’t visit places like the Vatican, Capitoline, Colosseum etc – but we did see them on our way around.
The glass lift just visible on the Vittoriano (look to the right hand side of the Temple above) gives a clue to a later post, although it wasn’t all quite as sunny as those first photos would have you believe. But there’s charm in rainy cobbles and streets too (and yes, that is an almost empty Piazza di Spagna).
